Breaks

Spring Break for my sweet sister that is! She's a full time college student, plus she works - she's not technically full time, but the last few weeks she might as well have been. Laura's been working like crazy in part to save up for a wonderful spring break trip down to Florida. She's such a great kid, I'd NEVER worry about her doing something she shouldn't on vacation. Plus, it's not like she's going with a bunch of other college kids - it'll be Laura; her boyfriend of nearly 3 years, Michael; Michel's brother, Nathan; and Nathan's girlfriend, Brittany. They're all such good kids.

Laura had to come into town today, so we met up to do some shopping! It was wonderful to get to hang out with her before she leaves early tomorrow. We didn't get to shop a really long time, so afterward I went & picked up a couple of other things for Laura Belle, then headed out to my parents' to spend just a little more time with her and Mom.

While I was there, Laura decorated her suitcase with some super cute pink & green ribbon! She hot-glued it all around the suitcase not just to be cute - it sure will help her at the baggage claim area in the airport! Who knew she was so crafty?

Going out to my parents' is also a 'break' for me - they love her so much, and Livia always loves going out there too. She gets to walkie-walk, crawl, and play & play. Tonight she was especially wound up! If I didn't know any better, I'd swear Livie was on a caffeine high or something. It was seriously hard to keep up with her! My Dad's out of town for the night, so maybe it just seemed harder than usual to keep her under reigns...

Well, it's QUITE late now and that little girl is out cold... I need to be too! A mother must sleep at night while her child does, otherwise the next day won't be easy! Love to all and God Bless!
