Flashback Friday (Featuring Michael & Laura)

I've chosen these two wonderful people and these particular pictures for a very good reason...

Michael and Laura have been together for nearly 3 years. They love each other almost as much as they love God - they are really good Christians who truly deserve someone as wonderful as each other.

They met way back when Laura Belle was a senior in high school. She was in health oc. class & got to go to various places in and around the area - hospitals, ambulances, etc. She & Michael actually met at a crash! They talked on the phone for a month or two before finally going out on a date - by that time Laura had nearly forgotten what Michael even looked like! They were 'official' soon after, and have been an amazing couple ever since.

Michael graduated from Vincennes University with a degree in Fire Science, as it's his ambition to be a firefighter. Laura has always wanted to be a nurse for as long as I can remember. (Wow, a lot like the movie Frequency, huh? If you've never seen this movie, I totally recommend doing so - it was WAY underrated for how awesome a film it is!) Anyway, Laura's now in college, going for her nursing degree, and Michael has been trying so hard to get his foot in the door at a fire department.

I've held off on even writing anything about this until now, but Monday of this week... Michael was offered a job with the Evansville Fire Department!!! I know that we should always pray that God's will be done (and not our own)... But I think a lot of us have been praying that it would be God's will for Michael to get a job as a firefighter in or around this area. Our prayers have been answered!!! I'm just so glad that Michael will be doing what he loves - and close to those who love him!
