Hello Everyone and Happy October!!! It is officially fall here in southern Indiana -- it honestly felt like the season changed overnight. Or at least over the weekend. We went to Ohio and it felt like summer; the day we came back, it looked, felt, & even smelled like fall.
So this month has a lot of excitement in store for us: as follows will be what we already have going on for this wonderful fall month.
Next week is one of the largest street festivals in the United States -- right here in Evansville! Every year in the first full week of October, the West Side Nut Club puts on the Fall Festival. It draws in hundreds of thousands every year, with rides, games, and food booths galore! There's something fun for just about everyone -- and our little family will certainly be going :o)
The following Monday (the 12th) is Columbus Day. A day that I never even thought twice about until I began working as a temp at a bank. The bank will be closed that day, so unless volume is just absolutely ridiculous, I'll have the day off as well!
At some point this month, we'll be doing some family photos (fingers crossed!). Fall is such a beautiful season, and my husband is really looking forward to going out to the country and getting some great family photos. We'll be using a couple of different outfits, and he's super excited about one... Can't wait to take & show off those photos.
The 17th of this month will be a very big day -- my Gramma Pat & the triplets will all be celebrating a birthday, and one of my very best friends from college will be celebrating her marriage! Kellee actually got married earlier last month on their honeymoon, and they're having a reception here in Evansville. I'll be taking pictures for her before and at their reception... Kellee's going to be in her wedding dress again, and hopefully she'll get all the wonderful bridal pictures she's ever dreamed of. Please say a little prayer for me that I'll do a good job!
Then the following weekend will be SUPER fun. Every month my husband & I do date night, and we've decided that we're going to make it really special. We're going to go somewhere and do something that we've never done together -- we'll be going up to French Lick IN to go on a Train Ride and see West Baden Hotel. We'll stay the night, but I'm not sure where yet. (Perry will take care of that) I've already taken care of purchasing the train tickets, and we're actually going on a ride that will feature a staged robbery. How fun!
Finally, the last weekend of the month will feature Halloween fun! I'm still not sure what Livia will be wearing, but I'm very excited all the same.
So that's our October in pre-view! Hope everyone is doing well, and I can't wait see what you all have in store for this month. Take care and God Bless!

"Huge News...!!!"
Don't you just hate it when someone posts a blog with a heading like that... and there's not really any 'huge news' so to speak of?
Well, I really do have huge news!
Except I can't tell you all what it is yet...! Well, I guess technically I could. But it'll be much funner to post about it when I have some pics to go along with it.
Plus the exciting news isn't really about me directly, but to someone very, very close to me.
So, nope - I'm not telling right now what that "huge news" is (sorry, I know that's just a cruel tease!)
**But I'll tell ya what - ya'll are more than welcome to guess, and if someone actually does guess what this huge news is about, I'll send that person something extra special - promise! :o) **
I'm still on hubby's computer, so I won't be responding thoughout the night (I'm too sleepy to stay up late anyway). But I'll be posting about this again tomorrow evening/night - providing I have pics of course, which I'm sure I will!
So, good luck guessing (if you so choose to do so) and sorry about keeping ya'll in suspense! I'll make it worth the wait ;o)
Much love to you all and God Bless!

Computer Update...
Good news and bad news on my computer.
Here's the good news: I do know what's wrong with it, and my awesome computer friend is going to fix it up for me... But the bad news is that the hard drive is shot. Which means that anything I didn't have backed up is gone for.ev.er. Yeesh.
More good news is that I just backed up all my pictures on Friday or Saturday. And I do believe that the only pictures I didn't have backed up are still on memory cards (and CDs from my wonderful Aunt Tanya! Thank you, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Tanya!!!)
There are also a couple of Jax pics that I edited & didn't back up, but luckily I emailed them out - so I actually do have copies of them! I've racked my brain, and I really can't think of any pictures that are forever gone. Which is a very good thing, since I've taken a lot of great ones lately!
Listen to me go on & on about a stupid computer when there are MUCH more important things going on in the world... Like Elise going in to be induced with Mini Boy Blue!!!
THAT is why I am going through withdraw without my laptop! Kidding, kidding! Honestly, my excitement about Elise having Mini is what will keep me scurrying into my hubby's garage to use his computer at all hours! I'm praying that all goes well for Elise. Please keep her & her family in your thoughts and prayers as well.
Well, that's about all for now... I should have my computer back again in a week or two, and until then I'm very blessed to have a husband who will gladly let me use his machine... as long as I don't fry his hard drive! Haha!
Much love to you all, take care and God Bless!

*Crash*
No, not the sound of me crashing & burning after a long day of fun and play - though I shall certainly do that soon! And it's not even the sound of me running into something. It seems that my laptop has crashed... Rats on a stick!
So here I am out in the garage on my hubby's computer, typing away as quickly as possible. There's a lot I hope to accomplish in not a whole lot of time. I hope... Oh, how the Internet-world can suck me in!
Well, hopefully I'll find out how bad the damage is after Phil the computer expert gets back into town on Wednesday. Is it selfish/ridiculous to pray for the computer to be halfways OK? Yeah, thought so...
How about this: I pray that everything works out just the way God wants it to. Yeah. That's a good prayer :o)
Much love to you all and God Bless!

May I Go Back a Day Please?
What's that? You say with the magic of this nifty cool internet thing that I can make the posts dated whatever I want? OK! I think I'll do just that, because I really want to make these posts make a little more sense. Please pretend that you don't think I'm a nut case! Thank you
:o)
